WELCOME TO MY PAGE
Hello and welcome!
My name is Sarah E Waring and I am a British writer and author that resides in a small town, just a stone's throw away from Sherwood Forest.
is my official author page, and on here you can find all my published works, including blogs, articles, fiction, non-fiction, notebooks, journals & diaries and self-help exercise books. I publish all my work on amazon but will be expanding in the near future to also distribute from my own online bookshop.
So ... about me!
First of all, thank you for stopping by, I'm grateful for your interest in my work.
My background is in community development, so you can imagine I have worked with many people and communities over the years. This has given me a range of perspectives, an insight into behaviours, and a knowledge of what happens in other 'worlds'. Even in my fiction works, I throw every part of what I know into it. To be honest, it is a golden rule in writing. Write what you know...it sort of makes sense - even in fiction! The more relatable, the more your readers can be convinced of your story!
So be careful ... if I know you, you could end up featuring in one of them!
I enjoy writing in many forms - fiction, poetry, and more recently, travel writing. I also enjoy philosophical writing which I have created a passion for during my university studies. I have also studied and practised methods that underpin theories of attraction laws and have studied chromotherapy. Together these interests are the makeup of my works.
I am coming into my last year of an arts and humanities degree (specialising in creative writing and philosophy), and I have found it has opened up my creative brain in more ways than I could ever have imagined. With this in mind, please do not mistake me as being settled into one area of writing, as I endeavour to try and test it all!
One last thing to add is that I do separate my genres of writing with pseudonyms. These include Aubrey Fox and Lucy Shakespeare. For non-fiction, I tend to stick to my non-fictional name, which is quite fitting.
I hope you find something you like whilst you peruse through the site, and I hope you have a fabulous day after doing so!
P.S Don't forget to sign up for my blog where I share writing tips, short stories, poetry and philosophical articles.
